A protagonist is a good guy,an antagonist is a bad guy. An example of this is the story Cinderella. She is a protagonist and the stepmother is an antagonist.

A protagonist is the hero and the antagonist is the villain. Cinderella we read in class has Cinderella as the protagonist and Cinderellas step sisters and step mom are the antagonists.

The difference between a protagonist and an antagonist is the protagonist is the hero in the story and the antagonist is the villain in the story. I read the regular Disney Cinderella story and Cinderella was the hero and her step family were the villains in the story.
