The light rain washed away less rocks than the heavy rain.It relates by erosion washing rocks to new places.

The light water washed away a little bit of dirt but, the heavy washed away a lot.

Both the light rain and the heavy rain washed away at least some of the dirt, but the heavy rain pulled a whole chunk of dirt off the mountain. On earth, landslides can happen when rushing water comes down a mountain.

The light rain did less damage then the heavy rain because the heavy rain had more force, on earth when floods happen it could destroy parts of montains because it has lots of force.

Damage is a really good word to explain what the heavy rain did to the mountain. You did a phenomenal job!

The heavy rain got a lot of water on our mountain and made a lot of dirt into mud however, the light rain got a little water and washed some dirt into mud.

Both of the mountains , paper and dirt, they both make little tiny rivers. The mud one made a little bit of a hole. The paper one didn't make a hole and it got wet. The dirt one, when it turned into mud all the mud went in the tray that we put it in. Both of them showed what one of the things called erosion.

The light rain knocked less mud off the mountain than the heavy rain. However, they both washed away some mud. It relates because real water can wash away earth too.

With the light rain the soil just got wet. But with the heavy rain the dirt moved down the mountain and formed a hole. This is one way the earth changes.

When we made a storm of water it took A LOT of the MOUNTAIN RANGE [mud pie]. However, the shower of water took a few drops of mud when it flows down the mountain. It relates because real mountains at least have a few cracks, and when the water gets into the cracks...

In our science lab today we discoverd that litgher water Cary's down a short amount of rock. And when water is heavier it Cary's down even bigger amount of rock!

The light rain and the heavy rain washed away a little bit of dirt but the heavy washed away rain a chunk of dirt!

When we sprayed light water on the mud mountain it made small puddles. When we used heavy rain it made most of the water go down to the bottom of the mud mountain. On a real mountain if it rained soft it would make small puddles. If it rained hard, it could take lots of soil off the mountain.

The light rain made a pond and the water flowed down from the top . The heavy rain made a big hole in the soil . On earth when it rains down from the mountains it can make lakes, ponds, or puddles .

In today's science lab I noticed the heavier rains caused much more damage to the soil, causing it break apart. The lighter rain made a slight impact on the soil causing some damage but did not cause any holes. On Earth when there is flooding in the moutains, the heavy rains causes the rivers to rise and the rushing water forces the rocks and dirt to break apart.

One similarity is both types of rain wash away parts of the mountain. One difference is that the heavy rain washed more of the dirt from the mountain Water can cause erosion and change the landscape of the earth.
Austin

The difference when the mud pile had alotbof water is it moved a lot and turned into water. When a little was dropped it barely moved. So when the earth has a lot of rain it can make it can change it but when it doesn't have a lot of water, it doesn't change bit. Comments are closed.
